تعرض هذا البحث لصحة الحکم الذي يأخذ من منطوق حديث علي بن أبي طالب t على فرقة الرافضة، استنادا على حکم حديثه من حيث القبول والرد، فقد قال علي بن أبي طالب t قال رسول الله r: "يَظْهَرُ فِي أُمَّتِي فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ قَوْمٌ يُسَمَّوْنَ الرَّافِضَةَ، يَرْفُضُونَ الْإِسْلَامَ"، فقد جمعت طرق الحديث المتصلة في المبحث الأول، والمرسلة، والمعلقة، والموقوفة في المبحث الثاني، وشواهد الحديث في المبحث الثالث، وقمت بدراستها، مع الحکم على کل طريق أذکرها، فکان عدد الطرق المتصلة ستة طرق، وطريق معلقة، وطريق مرسلة، وروي الحديث من طريقين موقوفين، ثم بينت إن للحديث ستة شواهد، من حديث: الحسن بن علي، وعبدالله بن عباس، وفاطمة الزهراء، وأم سلمة، وعبد الله بن عمر، ومعاذ بن جبل، y، وقد بينت الألفاظ المختلفة التي ورد بها کل طريق، ثم بينت في نهاية البحث الحکم العام على الحديث من جميع تلک الطرق والشواهد السالفة، وخلصت إلى أن الحديث لا يصح من تلک الطرق والشواهد کلها، وأنها لا تخلوا من علل بينتها في موضعها.
