جمع الباحث أقوال الإمام الحافظ أبي عَلِيٍّ الحُسَيْن بن عَلِيِّ بنِ يَزِيْدَ بنِ دَاودَ النَّيْسَابُوْرِي في رواة تهذيب التهذيب جرْحاً وتعديلاً، ودرسها دراسة تحليلية وقارنها بأقوال غيره من النُّقاد، وقد بدأ البحث بترجمة مفصَّلة للإمام أبي علي الحافظ، ثم ذکر أقواله في رواة تهذيب التهذيب جرحاً وتعديلاً وقسمهم إلي قسمين: هما الموثقون وکانوا على ثلاث مراتب، والمجرَّحون وکانوا على مرتبتين، وذکر الباحث خصائص منهج أبي علي الحافظ في الجرح والتعديل، ثم في نهاية البحث ذکر النتائج التي توصل إليها ثم توصياته للباحثين ثم فهرس المصادر والمراجع ثم فهرس الموضوعات.
Abstract:
 The researcher collected the sayings of Imam Al-Hafiz Abi Ali Al-Hussein bin Ali bin Yazid bin Dawood Al-Naysaburi about the narrators of Tahdheeb Al-Tahdheeb concerning Al-Jarh and Al-Ta’dil i.e., “Discrediting or Confirming the Reliability of Narrators”, studied them in an analytical way and compared them with the sayings of other critics. The research started with a detailed biography of Imam Abi Ali Al-Hafiz, then quoted his sayings about the narrators of Tahdheeb Al-Tahdheeb concerning Al-Jarh and Al-Ta’dil and divided them into two Sections; Al-Mowathaqoon, “The Credited Narrators”, and they were on three ranks and Al-Mojarrahoon, “The Discredited Narrators”, who were on two ranks. The researcher mentioned the characteristics of Abi Ali Al-Hafiz’s approach in Al-Jarh and Al-Ta’dil. At the end of the research, he mentioned the results he reached, then his recommendations for researchers, then the index of sources and references, then the index of topics.
