هدفت الدراسة إلى إبراز دور نیسابور في الحياة العلمية خلال القرنين الرابع والخامس للهجرة -حيث ساهمت نَيْسَابُور بدرجة عظيمة في رفد التقدم العلمي والتطور الحضاري-، وإبراز الحركة العلمية لمدينة نَيْسَابُور في القرنين الرابع والخامس من الهجرة.
وقد تناولت الدراسة في المبحث الأول تاريخ نَيْسَابُور في القرن الرابع والخامس الهجري، حيث ذكر الباحث سبب التسمية، والموقع الجغرافي لنَيْسَابُور، وتاريخ دخول الإسلام فيها، ثم النشاط الاقتصادي في نَيْسَابُور، والنشاط العلمي في نَيْسَابُور، وسقوط نَيْسَابُور.
وفي المبحث الثاني تناولت الدراسة أبرز علماء التفسير من نَيْسَابُور في القرن الخامس الهجري حيث برزت كوكبة من علماء التفسير الأجلاء في نَيْسَابُور، ومن هؤلاء العلماء الأجلاء: السلمي «حقائق التفسير» (٤١٢هـ)، الثعلبي «الكشف والبيان» (٤٢٧هـ)، والقشيري «لطائف التفسير» (465هـ)، والواحدي «البسيط- الوسيط- الوجيز» (468ه).
 Abstract:
The study aimed to highlight the role of Nishapur in the scientific life during the fourth and fifth centuries of Hijra, as Nishapur contributed greatly to the scientific progress and civilizational development, and to highlight the scientific movement of the city of Nishapur in the fourth and fifth centuries of Hijrah.
In the first topic, the study dealt with the history of Nishapur in the fourth and fifth centuries AH, where the researcher mentioned the reason for the name, the geographical location of Nishapur, the date of Entry of Islam there, then the economic activity in Nishapur, the scientific activity in Nishapur, and the fall of Nishapur.
In the second topic, the study dealt with the most prominent scholars of interpretation from Nishapur in the fifth century AH, where a constellation of distinguished scholars of interpretation emerged in Nishapur, and among these distinguished scholars: Al-Salami “The Realities of Interpretation” (412 AH), Al-Thalabi “Al-Kashf wa Al-Bayan” (427 AH), and Al-Qushayri “Lataif Al-Tafsir” (465 AH), and Al-Wahidi “Al-Basit – Al-Waseet – Al-Wajeez” (468 AH).
