موقف هُود بن مُحكم الهواري (ت: النصف الثاني من القرن الثالث الهجري) من آيات صفة الكلام لله  في تفسيره "تفسير كتاب الله العزيز" (دراسة نقديَّة على ضوء عقيدة أهل السنَّة والجماعة)

أهداف البحث: التعريف بالمفسر، والكشف عن القيمة العلمية لتفسيره، وبيان موقف هود من صفة الكلام لله U، ونقد موقفه وفق عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة.
أهمية البحث: الانتصار لكتاب الله عز وجل، وأهمية العلم بأسمائه وصفاته.
منهج البحث: المنهج الاستقرائي، والمنهج النقدي.
محتويات البحث: اشتمل البحث على: فصلين، وخاتمة، وفهارس.
المقدمة تحتوي على: مشكلة البحث، وأهدافه، وأهميته، وأسباب اختياره، والدِّراسَات السَّابقة، ومنهج البحث، وحدوده، وإجراءاته، وهيكله. وأما الفصل الأول فاشتمل على الحديث عن هود الهواري وتفسيره. وأما الفصل الثاني فاشتمل على الحديث عن موقف هود الهواري من صفة الكلام ونقده وفق عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة. واشتملت الخاتمة على أهم النتائج، ومنها:
1.   يعدّ تفسير كتاب الله العزيز لمؤلفه هود من أهم كتب التفسير عند الإباضية، وهو مختصر لتفسير ابن سلام، كما أنه لم يخلُ من مآخذ عقدية في مسائل عدة، وخصوصًا مسألة صفة الكلام لله عز وجل؛ حيث يقول بخلق القرآن، خلافًا للعقيدة الحقة.
2.   يعدّ هود من علماء القرن الثالث الهجري، وهو من أقدم مفسري كتاب الله في بلاد المغرب الأوسط.
3.   تعدّ قبيلة هوارة إحدى القبائل المهمة الممثلة لعصبة المذهب الإباضي.
4.   انتصار هود لفرقته وعلمائها في تفسيره.
5.   كان يكثر المفسر هود من النقل عن الكلبي، ومن نقْل الإسرائيليات والموضوعات، ويكثر من التكرار.
Abstract:                                                                                       
Research Objectives: To introduce the interpreter Hud al-Huwwari, reveal the scientific value of his exegesis, and to explain his position on the Attribute of ‘The Quality of Speech” to Allah and critically assess his position according to the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunna wa al-Jama'a.
Importance of Research: To defend the Book of Allah, as well as further affirming the importance of understanding Allah’s names and attributes, and to explicate on the impact of false interpretations on the Islamic doctrine, particularly on the attribute of ‘The Quality of Speech’ to Allah.
Research Methodology: Inductive and critical approaches.
Research Structure: The research includes an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, and indexes. 
The introduction contains the research problem, research objectives, research importance, and reasons behind the topic selection, previous studies, hypotheses, research methodology, limitations, procedures, and research structure. The first chapter presents biography of Hud al-Huwwari and discusses his Tafsir (interpretation). The second chapter includes a discussion of Hud's position on the attribute of ‘The Quality of Speech’ to Allah, by mentioning the meaning of the attribute and its evidence from the Quran and Sunnah. The conclusion includes the most important results, including:
. The Tafsir of the Book of Allah al-Aziz by Hud is considered one of the most important books of Tafsir among the Ibadhis. It is a summary of the Tafsir of Ibn Salam. The Tafsir is not devoid of doctrinal objections in several issues, especially the issue of the attribute of ‘The Quality of Speech’ to Allah, where he advocates Quran as a creation; contrary to true belief and doctrine.
. Hud is a third century scholar and he is one of the earliest exegetes of Quran in the Maghreb region.
The Huwwara tribe is one of the important tribes representing the Ibadhi sect.
. Hud's support for his sect and its scholars in his Tafsir was evident.
. Hud often quoted from al-Kalbi, transmitted Israeli narratives and fabrications, and was repetitive in his work
