بعث الله تعالى رسله صلوات الله عليهم جميعاً-إلى خلقه بدعوة واحدة،وشاءت حکمة الله تعالى أن تکون معجزات الأنبياء السابقين في أممهم حسية يراها المشاهدون ، ويعاينها الحاضرون :کناقة صالح، وبرد النار وسلامها على إبراهيم، وعصا موسى، وإبراء الأکمه والأبرص، وإحياء الموتى بإذن الله لعيسى صلوات الله عليهم جميعا، وأکثر ما کانت المعجزات الحسية في بني إسرائيل، وما کان ذلک إلا لفرط بلادتهم، وغلظ حسهم ثم ختم الله تعالى رسله إلى خلقه بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، وکما أيد من قبله بتلک المعجزات الحسية أيده کذلک بکثير منها، کتلک التي کان يطلبها المشرکون تعنتاً، فيجابون إلى بعضها ولا يؤمنون , ولا يجابون إلى أکثرها، رحمة من الله تعالى أن ينزل بهم العذاب عند تکذيبهم بها.
لکن المعجزة الکبرى لهذا النبي الخاتم صلى الله عليه وسلم کانت من نوع آخر، إنها المعجزة الباقية، التي تخاطب الأجيال في کل عصر، يراها ويقرؤها الناس في کل حين، إنها القرآن الکريم، الذي أعجز أرباب الفصاحة، وأسياد البلاغة في زمانهم , -کما يشهد بذلک سوق عکاظ -فسما بيانه، فکان المعجزة الباقية للرسالة الخاتمة.
إن اختصاص النبي الخاتم صلى الله عليه وسلم بمعجزة القرآن الباقية خلافاً للرسالات السابقة يأتي إيضاحه وتعليله کذلک في حديثه صلوات الله وسلامه عليه:(ما من الأنبياء نبي إلا أعطي من الآيات ما مثله آمن عليه البشر، وإنما کان الذي أوتيته وحياً أوحاه الله إلي ، فأرجو أن أکون أکثرهم تابعاً يوم القيامة).
ولقد عمد کثير من المستشرقين ، وأصحاب العقائد المنحرفة فتناولوه بالترجمة والتفسير باسم الإسلام والعمل على نشره، وهدفهم تضليل الناس، وتنفيرهم منه، وصدهم عنه .
وقد في بحثي المتواضع أنواع ترجمة القرآن الکريم , وأحکامها , وضوابطها , ومواقف علماء الأمة من هذا العمل قديماً وحديثاً .
