تنوعت مواقف المفکرين المعاصرين من الوحي تنوعا کبيرا شغل المختصين والدارسين؛ لما أحدثته من قلق عميق لدى عامة المثقفين والباحثين، بتوجهها إلي تبني منهجية جديدة تخالف نهج القدماء في تفسير القرآن الکريم، هذه المنهجية تدعو إلى أمرين:
الأول: تجاوز التفسير التراثي للقرآن من مناهج وأدوات تحليلية، بحجة أنها تمثل فترة زمنية معينة أطلق عليها اسم العالمية الأولى.
الثاني: الأخذ بمناهج جديدة تلاءم الفترة الزمنية الحالية، العالمية الإسلامية الثانية.
وقد حمل لواء هذه الدعوة مجموعة من الباحثين، أبرزهم: الدکتور مُحَمَّد شحرور الأستاذ الجامعي السوري. صاحب الفکر المارکسي والذي حاول إلباسه - بشتى الطرق-کتاب الله- عز وجل- بلي أعناق نصوص الذکر الحکيم لتوافق مذهبه، تحت عنوان زخرفه بـ" الکتاب والقرآن قراءة معاصرة " الذي حاول فيه تناول القرآن الکريم بمناهج وأدوات معاصرة، مثل: المنهج البنيوي، والمنهج الجدلي...؛ فشعرت بخطورة طرحه على عامة المسلمين فضلا عن مثقفيهم، ممن قد يغتر بأسلوبه "علمي الادعاء" حيث يوهم القارئ باستيعاب نصوص القرآن وترتيبها وبتالي فهمها وصياغتها في "قراءة جديدة" بها يشارک في حل أزمة الفکر الإسلامي المعاصر، وهي في الحقيقة افتراضات وتصورات محضة لا أدلة ولا براهين عليها إلا ما قام به مخالفا ومحطما لکل خصائص ونظم ومعاجم اللغة العربية، حيث قام باجتثاث المفردات من سياقها وتجريدها من معانيها الحقيقة؛ لأنه وکما أشار- إلي عالمية الفکر الإسلامي- في أحد کتبه."إنه کتاب موجه إلي کل إنسان عربي وغير عربي مؤمن أو ملحد وإلي کافة الاتجاهات العقدية، وأن کل إنسان سيجد شيئا فيه يدخل ضمن قناعته الخاصة وقد يجد ما کان يبحث عنه".
ومن هنا تکمن أهمية هذا البحث لکشف زيغ وتضليل هذا الفکر، لذا سأبدأ في تحديد منهجه والأسس التي بنا عليها فکره من خلال استقراء جميع مؤلفاته حتى يسهل تشخيص الأطر التي تدخل ضمن العملية النقدية ومن خلال ذلک أوضح موقفه من ثبوت الوحي ومنهجه الذي اعتمده في تأويل "آيات الکتاب الموحى به إلي محمد أو الوحي بشقيه".
