يتحدث البحث عن قضايا غيبية تتعلق بأزلية وجود الله تعالى و أول ما خلق من المخلوقات
يضبط هذا الحديث مجال الفکر في هذه الأمور الغيبية التي لا محال للعقل فيها ، و في نفس الوقت يحتاج الفکر إلى إشباع الرغبة في معرفتها ، فکان هذا الحديث نور يضيء الطريق للعقل في معرفة هذه الأمور
احتوى البحث على أقوال العلماء في أول المخلوقات و أدلتهم مع بيات الراجح مع التعليل
احتوى البحث على تفاصيل جزئيات الحديث و بيان معانيها بما لا يوجد في موضع آخر
استوعب البحث تخريج حديث " کان الله" من أکثر من خمسة و عشرين موضعاً مع المقارنات في المتن
استوعب البحث کل ما وقفت عليه من أحاديث تتکلم عن بداية الخلق مع دراستها و الحکم عليها إذا لم تکن في الصحيحين أو احدهما
من خلال البحث تبين قلة الأحاديث التي تکلمت عن بدء الخلق ، و تبين بأن ذلک لم يکن يشغل الصحابة رضوان الله عليهم
