title: Seven Letters and Ottoman Plural
Researcher: Dr. Suad Bint Saleh bin Saeed Ba'aqi
Associate Professor, Um al-Qura University/ Faculty of Da'wa and The Origins of Religion
The importance and motivation of research:
Thank God and enough and peace and prayers and peace on his prophet Mustafa  but after
It is god's mercy to the servants to bring down the Qur'an and its ease of mentioning, preserving and reciting, as Ezz said: "We have been pleased with the qur'an for remembering from a memory" [alkamar: 17]
It is easy for him to put it down in seven letters, as stated in the correct hadith about Obaidullah ibn Abdullah, that Ibn Abbas told him that the Messenger of God  said: "Gabriel read me on the letter of his fraj, so I did not increase it, so it increased me to seven letters."
The Qur'an has gone through the ages of the past through various stages of collection and writing, the first of which was in his reign .
The second time in the succession of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may God bless him, he included  was different from him by certain controls in the combined newspapers.
Then the third stage, which is the collection of Othman  and then the disagreement arose between the scholars on the subject of the seven letters on which the Qur'an came down in many aspects, and they differed in what the seven letters are, as they differed in their survival and their relationship to the seven readings and the disagreement continued in this present time.
The first aspect, which is what the seven letters are, was filled with research, study, writing and writing, so I did not include in this research, although I assumed that it was known to the companions, that they were known to thecompanions, and that they were due to the not the meaning, and that they read them with the evidence of the difference that arose between them.
I've looked at this other side of this, which is the survival of all seven characters or some of them.
The research was divided into an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion:
The introduction is indicating the importance of the topic, the motivation to write it and the research methodology.
Chapter 1: The meaning of the seven letters and their evidence and the wisdom of the Qur'an coming down on them, and there are three investigations.
First: The meaning of the seven characters in a nutshell.
Second: The most important hadiths that prove the qur'an's descent on the seven letters.
Third: The wisdom of the Qur'an descending on the seven letters.
Chapter 2: The motives and characteristics of the collection of the Qur'an in its three stages.
There are three investigations and under each research two demands:
First: The motives and characteristics of the collection of the Qur'an during the reign of the Prophet  .
Second: The motives and characteristics of the collection of the Qur'an during the reign of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq.
Third: Motives and characteristics of the collection of the Qur'an during the reign of Othman
Chapter 3: Sayings in the survival of all seven characters or some of them and their evidence:
There are four detectives:
The first is to say that one letter remains and its evidence.
Second: to say that what ottoman painting and its evidence can bear will remain.
Third: to say that all the characters and their evidence remain.
Fourth: Criticism of words and weighting between them.
The conclusion is that the most prominent findings and recommendations are in place.
Then the indexes.
