أهداف البحث: يهدف البحث إلى جمع ودراسة الأحاديث الواردة في ذم العجز والکسل على سبيل الاستقصاء من کتب السنة ودواوينها وبيان درجتها من حيث القبول والرد.
منهج البحث: سلک الباحث المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي.
أهم نتائج البحث: خرج بعدة نتائج، من أهمها:
إبراز عناية السنة النبوية بالحث على السعي والحرکة والجد والنشاط والبعد عن صفتي العجز والکسل، ومن ذلک أيضاً أهمية الاستعاذة من العجز والکسل.
التوصيات: أهمية العناية بالأحاديث الدالة على اجتناب الصفات الذميمة ليحذرها الناس ويسلکوا العلاج الناجع لها، ويوصي البحث بضرورة بيان مکانة السنة وأنها جاءت لتبين للناس کل ما فيه خير لهم وتدفع عنهم کل سوء ومکروه.
 Abstract:
 The research aims to collect and study the Hadiths mentioned in disapproval of incapability and laziness, as a way of surveying the Sunni’s books and their collections and showing their degree of acceptance and response.
Research Methodology: The researcher used the inductive and analytical method.
The most important search results: It found several results, the most important of which are:
Highlighting the consideration of the Sunni of the Prophet by urging the pursuit, movement, seriousness, activity and get away from the traits of incapability and laziness, including the importance of seeking refuge from  incapability and laziness.
Recommendations: The importance of taking care of the Hadiths that indicate avoiding reprehensible qualities so that people warn them and take effective treatment for them, and the research recommends the necessity of explaining the position of the Sunni and that it came to show people all that is good for them and keeping them out of trouble and hatred.
