تدور هذه الدراسة حول ورود أحاديث کثيرة في دواوين السنة النبوية تتناول طائفة معينة تعرف باسم "القدرية"، فتحاول هذه الدراسة التعرف على هذه الفرقة من معرفة الآباء المؤسسين لها، ومعرفة أقوالهم ومبادئهم التي کانوا ينادوا بها والممارسات التي قاموا بها، ومن ثم معرفة سبب ورود هذه الأحاديث التي تذم هذه الطائفة وتنعتهم بأنهم مجوس هذه الأمة، فکشف الدراسة عن کل طرق هذه الأحاديث لمعرفة صحتها من ضعفها، مع الأخذ بتفعيل دور علم العلل والذي لا يکتفي بالوقوف على ظواهر الأسانيد، وإنما يقوم بالبحث في ما راء هذه النصوص من ظروف سياسية مصاحبة قد تکشف لنا أسباب خفية في ورود مثل هذه الأحاديث التي تتناول القدرية.
 
(Abstract of study)
This study is focused on the many Hadiths which had been reported in the Sunnah books regarding a specific group known as "Qadariyah". The study seeks to identify this group; its founding fathers, their sayings and the beliefs they adopted and preached, in addition to the practices which they performed. Thus, we can find out the exact reasons behind these Hadiths that criticized this group and described it as the Magians of this Ummah.
The study reveals all the ways of narration of these Hadiths in order to determine whether they are authentic or weak Hadiths. We revitalized the role of Ilal "the science of the Defective Hadiths". This science doesn't only study the apparent chain of narrators, but it also examines the political conditions accompanying these texts which could inform us about the hidden reasons behind the Hadiths regarding Qadariyah.
